Kitchen stoves in Kalikot (Clean Cooking Stove Solution)

This is 2nd phase after the successful installation of 48 improved Cooking Stoves in the pilot phase. 

The project aims to contribute to improving the health status of women and children by providing improved kitchen stoves. The outcome is a reduction of firewood consumption and a contribution to the reduction of diseases caused by smoke during cooking and heating. In this phase, 80 ICSs will be installed in the local households of Mahawai Rural Municipality. 

The project is completed in the Mahawai Rural Municipality of Kalikot District, with financial support from Ecohimal Gesellschaft für interkulturelle Zusammenarbeit e.V and the Mahawai Rural Municipality.
