Community Resource Mapping Workshop at EVON- EcoHimal Agroforest Resource Centre

We are pleased to partner with Story Cycle to organize a half-day workshop on mapping Patlekhet’s community resources, to be held at the EVON Patlekhet Agroforestry Resource Centre.

The workshop is being organized in collaboration with Nextdoor and Raithaane, bringing together community members and local stakeholders to collectively document and promote the valuable resources and heritage of Patlekhet.

Workshop Details

• Date: Monday, August 31, 2026
• Time: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

We warmly invite Patlekhet community leaders, residents, farmers, youth, and people from neighboring villages to participate in this collaborative mapping exercise.

During the workshop, participants will work together to identify and map:

• Local community resources and agroforestry assets
• Historic and cultural sites
• Community trails and important pathways
• Natural and environmental resources
• Places of social, cultural, and economic significance
• Other features that contribute to the identity and development of Patlekhet

This participatory exercise will provide an opportunity for local people to share their knowledge, document community assets, and contribute to a collective understanding of Patlekhet’s social, cultural, environmental, and economic resources.

We look forward to your active participation and valuable contributions in documenting and promoting Patlekhet’s rich community resources and supporting sustainable and locally rooted development.
